Rishworth Palace Ltd. currently uses CCTV to view and record individuals on and around the Rishworth Palace development.

The board of directors of Rishworth Palace Ltd. believes that CCTV has a legitimate role to play in helping to maintain a safe and secure environment for all the tenants and visitors of the Rishworth Palace development. However, we also recognise that this may raise concerns about the effect on individuals and their privacy. This policy is, therefore, intended to set out the lawful basis for the processing of data by CCTV, explain why this is necessary, and address any concerns you may have regarding the use of CCTV in the development.

We fully appreciate that images recorded by surveillance systems are personal data which must be processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Rishworth Palace Ltd. is committed to complying with its legal obligations and ensuring that the legal rights of tenants and visitors are recognised and respected. We are a data controller and we have registered our use of CCTV with the Information Commissioner's Office.
