Byelaws
Smoking is not permitted in hallways, stairways or communal areas
Hallways, stairways and communal areas are not to be used as play areas, work areas or storage areas
The directors must be given reasonable notice of any bulky furniture deliveries or removals and of major works or alterations to apartments
The cost of repairing damage to the mill as a result of any of the above acts will be charged to the flat owner/resident responsible
Pet excrement must be cleaned up from the mill and grounds by pet owners; failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of permission for pet occupancy
The gymnasium and its equipment are to be used only by residents aged 18 years and over unless directly supervised by a suitably experienced adult.
Vehicles will be deemed abandoned if parked for more than three months, without valid road tax, or without written board approval, which must be renewed every three months. Vehicles deemed abandoned may be removed from the Mill property, and the expense may be charged to the flat owner/resident.
Vehicles parked in a no-parking area or in a disabled parking area without a permit will have a sticker applied advising of the violation. If there is a recurrence of the violation, the vehicle may be removed from the Mill property, and the expense may be charged to the vehicle owner/driver responsible.
Commercial vehicles and skips must not be parked next to the main building
Skips must be placed in parking spaces as near as possible to the right of either bin store or in parking spaces as near as possible to the bridge over the stream
Entrance doors must not be left open or unlocked when unattended
Communal area electrical sockets are not RCD-protected and must not be used by contractors executing private apartment works
Residents must ensure that their contractors comply with these byelaws
